Terms of Service
This document was last updated on March 14, 2026.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ParsePack ("the Service"), operated at parsepack.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
ParsePack is a web-based application that allows users to upload supplier documents — such as packing lists, delivery notes, and purchase orders — and uses artificial intelligence to extract product data (including SKUs and quantities). Users can review, edit, and export this extracted data as CSV files compatible with platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, and others.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address or by signing in through a supported authentication provider (e.g., Google). You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- All activity that occurs under your account.
- Providing accurate and complete information during registration.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.
4. Credits, Payments, and Refunds
ParsePack uses a credit-based system. Each document processed consumes one credit. New accounts receive a limited number of free credits. Additional credits can be purchased in packs.
- Payments are processed by Polar.sh, which acts as the Merchant of Record. By making a purchase, you also agree to Polar.sh's terms of service.
- Credits are non-refundable once purchased. Credits do not expire.
- Pricing may change at any time. Existing purchased credits are not affected by price changes.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload documents containing illegal, fraudulent, or harmful content.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or abuse the AI extraction system.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to interact with the Service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or connected networks.
- Upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
6. Intellectual Property
The ParsePack name, logo, and the Service itself (including its design, code, and AI models) are the intellectual property of ParsePack. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.
We do not claim ownership of your uploaded documents or the data extracted from them. Your content remains yours.
7. User Content and Data
You retain full ownership of all documents you upload and data extracted from them. By uploading a document, you grant ParsePack a limited, non-exclusive license to process that document solely for the purpose of providing the extraction service to you.
We do not use your documents or extracted data to train AI models, and we do not share your content with other users.
8. Document Retention
Uploaded documents may be automatically deleted from our servers after 30 days. Extracted data is retained in your account for as long as your account remains active. We recommend downloading your exported CSV files promptly.
9. Accuracy and Limitation of Liability
AI-powered extraction is not guaranteed to be 100% accurate. The Service provides tools for you to review and edit extracted data before exporting. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of extracted data before importing it into your inventory system.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ParsePack is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. ParsePack shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, resulting from your use of the Service.
10. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses caused by service downtime.
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior. Upon termination:
- Your access to the Service will be revoked.
- Remaining credits are forfeited and are not eligible for refund.
- Your uploaded documents and extracted data may be permanently deleted.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending an email notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.
